For the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for SME Finance Experts, a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or a comparable qualification is required, but for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination for Experts in Financial Market Operations (FMO), a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, a Matura or a comparable qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, banking, compliance, IT or auditing is also sufficient.
