Although a Baccalaureate is an advantage for a kindergarten teacher training program, it is not mandatory. A teaching diploma, a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate with a passerelle or a degree from a university of applied sciences are also possible qualifications. Many Universities of Teacher Education (PHs) also admit applicants with other qualifications to study kindergarten.
