In principle, an apprenticeship qualification with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) is highly recommended, but not mandatory, for continuing education, further training as an automotive sales advisor with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training. Even without an apprenticeship certificate, you can be admitted to the course and the Federal Professional Examination if you have sufficient practical experience in automotive sales. You must have at least seven years of professional experience in Switzerland, including at least four years in automobile sales. The educational institutions will inform you about the exact admission requirements.
