A specific apprenticeship qualification is not mandatory for starting the Food Technology degree course, but people with an apprenticeship and a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in a profession related to the field of study can enter the Bachelor's degree course directly, while people with a Baccalaureate, a non-subject-related apprenticeship with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, a Specialized Baccalaureate or a diploma from a College of Higher Education must have at least one year of work experience in a food technology company or laboratory.
