Do I absolutely need a Matura degree to study landscape architecture?
You can be admitted to a Bachelor's degree course with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate specializing in nature, landscape, horticulture, a Specialized Baccalaureate with an internship in the field of landscape architecture or a Baccalaureate and a one-year corresponding internship. However, at some Universities it is also possible to train as a garden planner or landscape gardener without a baccalaureate.
