Bieten die Fachhochschulen für den Master in Soziale Arbeit unterschiedliche Vertiefungsrichtungen an?

Do the Universities of Applied Sciences offer different specializations for the Master's in Social Work?

Students who wish to begin a consecutive Master's degree program in Social Work at a UAS for Social Work can choose one of the four specializations offered after completing the basic modules. These specializations depend on the location and are accordingly offered exclusively at the individual Universities. These are

  • Bern: Social change and the organization of social work
  • Zurich: Social problems and lifestyle: theories - analyses - interventions
  • Lucerne Social work in the context of social policy, law and economics
  • St. Gallen: Professional and methodological development

Regardless of the University of Applied Sciences at which you attend the basic modules of the Master's degree program, you can also freely enroll for a specialization at one of the other UASs and thus complete your Master's degree program at two different Universities.
