Do I need further work experience after my apprenticeship in order to take a Federal Professional Examination?
If you are interested in continuing your education directly after your vocational education and training (VET), you will usually find that this is not so easy with federal qualifications. After training in the hotel industry, you usually need to have worked in the hotel industry for at least 2-3 years in order to be admitted to a Federal Professional Examination (FPE). However, proof of professional experience must be provided at the time of the examination, not at the start of the preparation course.
