Benötige ich für einen CAS in sozialer Arbeit wirklich einen Uniabschluss?
Do I really need a university degree for a CAS in social work?
In principle, a continuing education course at a University of Applied Sciences or university, such as a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies), is aimed at professionals with several years of professional experience and a university degree. This does not necessarily have to be from a university; it can also be from a University of Applied Sciences (UAS), Federal Institutes of Technology (FIT) or University of Teacher Education (UTE). However, people with comparable education and continuing, further training, such as a diploma from an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) or College of Higher Education with extensive specialist and management experience, are generally also accepted. In the case of such "sur dossier" admission, the head of studies decides on an individual basis.
