Do I need an additional pre-course in mathematics for the diploma course in construction?
A preliminary mathematics course is not compulsory for enrolment on the course in design engineering or as a qualified technician CHE mechanical engineering, specializing in design engineering, but is strongly recommended if you completed your apprenticeship several years ago or do not have a vocational secondary school certificate.
Note: From fall 2022, the CHE technician courses (formerly "CHE technician specialization") will have their own framework curriculum and a new title for each specialization. For example, the "Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE" course will now be called "Mechanical Engineering Technician CHE". In addition, the specializations have been abolished.
