Which social work course awards graduates a federally recognized diploma?
Federally recognized degrees can be obtained in social work at Universities of Applied Sciences in the form of Bachelor's and Master's degree courses, as well as Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), for example in continuing education, further training as an institution manager in the social and socio-medical field, counsellor in the psychosocial field, supervisor/coach and as a social insurance expert with a federal diploma. Federal Professional Examinations (FPE) are also possible, such as the Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a specialist for the support of people with disabilities, the Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a social support worker, the Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a team leader in social and socio-medical institutions or the Federal Diploma of Higher Education as a social insurance specialist. The Federal VET Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (FaBe) with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training is offered as basic training in the field of social work.
