For which types of oedema is physical oedema therapy used?
Physical edema therapy is mainly used for lymphedema, eyelid edema, inactivity edema, phleboedema, as well as orthostatic, idiopathic, traumatic, ischemic, chronic inflammatory, diuretic-induced and vaso-vegetative edema. Protein deficiency edema, pathological pregnancy edema and cardiac edema are also treated with manual lymphatic drainage, edema grips and compression as an additional form of therapy to the usual medical treatment.
