After training in radiology, radiologists (or radiology specialists CHE) have the following tasks - depending on the area:
- Diagnostic radiology - performing X-ray examinations
- Radiation oncology - treating patients with targeted radiotherapy
- Nuclear medicine - administering radioactive substances to patients and recording their activity
- inform patients sensitively about the procedure
- precisely adjust technologically highly complex devices and ensure that they function flawlessly
- ensure the safety of everyone involved and the environment by complying with radiation protection regulations
