What modules does the Master's in Geriatrics consist of?

Depending on the Universities chosen, the individual Master's degree programs in geriatrics are made up of very different modules. For example, the MAS in Geriatric Nursing at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW consists of the following modules: Care of People with Dementia; Everyday Life Management in Old Age; Clinical Assessment in Gerontological Nursing; Moderation and Management of Challenging Conversations; Family-Centered Care and Counseling; Patient Education in Gerontological Nursing; Nursing Development and Professional Leadership; Nursing Research; Compulsory Elective Coaching or Healthcare Switzerland. There are seven compulsory modules to be taken at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland: Depression, Anxiety and Addiction; Dementia and Delirium; Spirituality and Biography; Patient and Family Education; Geriatric Interventions; Gerontology and Geriatrics; and Clinical Assessment. In addition, there are at least two elective modules and three Master's modules.
