Aus welchen Fächern besteht das Maschinenbau Studium?

What subjects does the mechanical engineering course consist of?

Mathematical subjects with linear algebra, computer science, probability theory and statistics, analysis and numerics form the basis of the mechanical engineering course, together with natural science subjects such as mechanics, chemistry, heat and radiation. Electromagnetism, vibrations and waves and subjects such as machine elements, materials, production and design form the basis of the mechanical engineering course. In addition, there is the basic laboratory with WS materials design, chemistry / design laboratory, physics / materials laboratory, FEM simulation, CFD simulation, measurement and sensor technology. Technical mechanics (kinematics, kinetics, elastostatics, statics, machine dynamics, dimensioning) and energy technology basics (thermodynamics, electrical engineering, fluid mechanics, energy technology systems, drive technology) are also part of the foundation course, as are business studies, German, English and projects. In addition, there are subject supplements, elective subjects and the chosen specialization in the main course.
