The design engineering course at a College of Higher Education is very broad and comprises a total of 29 subjects, as well as term papers and a diploma thesis. Within the subjects, the main focus is on mathematics (with 200 lessons) and physics (with 120 lessons), but design engineering (75 lessons), fluid technology (70 lessons) as well as electrical engineering, business administration, machine elements, drive and gear technology (60 lessons each) also make up a large part of the course.
