Do people who have completed the MAS in Gerontological Care work directly in senior care or in organization and planning?
Graduates of an MAS in Gerontological Nursing are trained to take on the specialist management of complex patient situations in hospital, home care or long-term care situations. Advice and training for patients and relatives are among the tasks of graduates, as are the development and implementation of evidence-based solutions, the (partial) management of inter- and intra-professional teams and the planning and management of sustainable care development projects. Pure care of the elderly does not fall within the remit of Master's graduates.
