Arbeiten Naturpädagogen nur mit Kindern zusammen?
Do nature educators only work with children?
No, as a nature educator you do not work exclusively with children, although this is a very large target group. Schoolchildren, kindergarten children or playgroup children are often accompanied by nature education in their everyday lives, whether on regular forest days or as part of lessons at private and sometimes also public schools. Nevertheless, nature educators, environmental educators and forest educators are not only there to educate children about the environment, but also deal with adults. This can take place in very different ways, for example in workshops where interested parties want to become one with nature again and learn to live in and with nature. However, experiential education events are also possible, for example in the form of company seminars, where trekking or snowshoeing is on the agenda. A nature educator is therefore responsible for very different target groups and brings them a little closer to nature using very different methods of nature education.
