The MarKom certificate examination tests the basic knowledge for the advanced courses for marketing specialists, sales specialists, PR specialists, communication planners and testers. The certificate is a prerequisite for admission to the federal final examinations for the above-mentioned courses. However, other equivalent educational qualifications are also accepted. All persons over the age of 18 are eligible for admission. Previous school education or practical experience is irrelevant.
The MarKom exam is conducted on a PC and consists of multiple choice questions. The exam covers the topics of business administration, economics, law, marketing, sales and distribution, marketing communication and public relations.
