The HF Process Technician course (formerly HF Business Process Technician) can be completed in two specializations:

• Operating technology:
  They take care of the organizational structure of a company as the interface between different departments. With knowledge of administrative activities as well as production processes, they promote communication between the different departments. In addition to a management role, project management or marketing functions are also possible.
• Logistics:
  They control networks and value chains and design supply chain management for procurement, production, transportation, distribution, warehousing and disposal. As all-rounders in logistics, they organize procurement and production logistics and coordinate all parties involved in the logistics process.

Note: As part of the revision of the HF technology framework curriculum, in addition to the introduction of separate framework curricula for each HF technician specialization and title changes in autumn 2022, the specializations for HF process technician, industrial engineering and logistics were also abolished.
