Tell us about your career.

My name is Pascal Rutz and I work for the recruitment agency work24.com in Rohrschach. I completed my sales apprenticeship as a retail specialist at M-Electronics in 2006. After that, I soon took the plunge into the office. I have now been working in personnel consulting for 10 years. In 2017, I completed the HR assistant course at BVS St. Gallen.

Who would you recommend the HR Assistant HRSE course to?

I can recommend the HR Assistant course to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge in the field of HR. But also to get to know yourself again. There is definitely something for everyone.

Why did you choose the HR assistant course with certificate examination?

I decided to do the HR assistant course because I have a lot to do with the recruitment of skilled and unskilled workers in our company. The company's core competencies lie in recruitment. In order to be able to select and place the right people for our customers, I wanted to learn the tricks of the trade so that I could achieve this goal in the best possible way.

Employment law was very important to me because you can use it both privately and in a professional environment. In addition, business administration and economics gave me a better understanding of the interrelationships in the economy and a basic understanding of how the market works. In my opinion, as a personnel assistant it is important to understand which market you are operating in.

Why did you choose BVS St. Gallen as your educational institute?

Many of my work colleagues had already completed their further training as HR assistants at BVS St. Gallen. Due to this positive feedback from other graduates, I decided to do my further training at BVS in St. Gallen.

What did you particularly like about the BVS in St. Gallen?

I really liked the canteen, so that you can eat before class and then start the HR assistant training refreshed. There is also a "you" culture, which makes the exchange at the school very informal and relaxed.
