How do the pedicure training courses work?

Courses in pedicure consist of theoretical learning material and a lot of practice in the form of demonstrations and personal practice. We practise on models, i.e. on other people's real feet.

As a rule, the participants practise on each other. Additional feet are usually required. Some schools organize the models themselves, others leave this task to the course participants. Clarify this point with the school of your choice so that you have enough pairs of feet to practice with when the time comes.

Lessons take place as individual lessons or in small classes with a maximum of 4 or 6 people. As a rule, you will receive documentation with the course.

How long do the pedicure training courses last and how much do they cost?

• Taster coursesandIntroductionslast 0.5-2 days and cost approx. CHF 250-750.
• In-depth and specialization coursesusually last 1-3 days. The costs per course day are around CHF 370-420.
• Pedicure traininglast approx. 17-20 days (can be arranged individually, e.g. 2 days per week or individual days spread over 6 months). With these courses you usually achieve the minimum of 100 training hours required for association recognition. The costs are around CHF 4'300-6'300.

Many course fees include the cost of consumables, snacks, exams and certificates. Some providers charge additionalMaterial costsof up to CHF 450.
