The Medical Basics courses impart the basic knowledge of conventional medicine that is a prerequisite for working as a recognized therapist. Successful graduates of this course are able to recognize when there is an emergency or when the involvement of other specialists is necessary. They carry out physical examinations, take medical histories, make suspected diagnoses and check them. To do this, they assess and interpret laboratory values and record observations.
