With a baccalaureate from the Gymnasium, you have access to all* Bachelor's degree programs at Swiss universities and teacher training colleges as well as at the Federal Institutes of Technology in Zurich and Lausanne. You will also be admitted to most foreign universities.
Following your Bachelor's degree, you can continue your academic career with a Master's degree and work towards all university professions and/or a doctorate. Or you can specialize in a specific subject with a postgraduate MAS (Master of Advanced Studies).
* Please note: Some Bachelor's degree courses are subject to a numerus clausus, i.e. the universities only admit a limited number of students per semester. Entrance examinations and aptitude tests are used as selection procedures.
