General education:

Leadership training and courses in leadership and management are available at all educational levels, for different target groups and sectors.

Possibilities with diploma HF:

There are tailor-made management courses for graduates of higher technical colleges (HF): postgraduate courses at higher technical colleges (NDS-HF). These provide basic knowledge for management and leadership tasks, sometimes with a focus on a specific sector (e.g. technology, business or health).

Since the universities of applied sciences can freely name their courses and degrees, similar course content is offered under different names and different degrees and titles are awarded. You can recognize that it is the same level of education by the title components "dipl." and "NDS HF", e.g:

• Dipl. Executive in Leadership and Management NDS HF
• Certified Expert in Leadership and Change Management NDS HF
• Dipl. in Leadership and Management NDS HF

Admission:

Anyone who has one of the following educational qualifications is admitted to postgraduate courses at NDS-HF colleges:

• Diploma from a higher technical college (HF) or a predecessor school (TS and HWV) or comparable training
• Diploma from a university of applied sciences or university degree program
• Federal certificate or federal diploma of a higher professional examination
• Persons without a further education qualification can be admitted via an admission interview.

Some schools also require proof of at least 3 years of professional experience with management and specialist responsibility.
