Maintenance Manager (new title: Head of Facility Management and Maintenance): Training, further training, information, self-test, overview of providers

Die neue Weiterbildung zum Leiter, zur Leiterin in Facility Management und Maintenance, die den Instandhaltungsleiter ablöst, wird berufsbegleitend 3 oder 4 Semester dauern.

Die eidg. höhere Fachprüfung zum dipl. Instandhaltungsleiter/in wird abgelöst durch den neuen Abschluss «Diplomierter Leiter / diplomierte Leiterin in Facility Management und Maintenance»

The admission requirements for the new higher professional examination "Head of Facility Management and Maintenance", which replaces the maintenance manager, have been changed.

The following requirements must be met in order to complete the HFP:

• Federal diploma or other tertiary qualification and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience

or

• Completion of upper secondary level or equivalent qualification and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, of which at least 2 years in management

and

• Modules A-G successfully completed.

The new training course, which replaces the previous maintenance manager, is called "Head of Facility Management and Maintenance"

The following modules and topics are examined at the HFP:

• Management of employees
• Implementation of internal and external communication
• Application of normative principles and safety regulations
• Organize area of responsibility
• Financial management of the area of responsibility
• Further development of personal skills
• Purchasing and provision of services

Die Instandhaltung von Einrichtungen und Anlagen in der Haustechnik und der Industrie-Produktion obliegt der Verantwortung von diplomierten Instandhaltungsleitern und Instandhaltungsleiterinnen. Dazu sind sie für die Konzepterstellung, die Planung und die Leitung der Umsetzung zuständig und sorgen für einen optimalen Betrieb. Sie sind mit der Wertanalysenerstellung, Kenngrössenermittlung, Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnungen und Instandhaltungsanforderungsdefinition betraut, mit der Festlegung des Service Level, dem Controlling, der Erstellung des Instandhaltungsbudgets, der Einsatzmittelplanung sowie der logistischen Planung. Zudem leiten, organisieren, koordinieren und kontrollieren sie die Arbeiten und ihre Mitarbeitenden.
