With the commercial diploma, graduates are in a position to take on a demanding job in business or administration. For many people, the commercial diploma is a basic commercial qualification. It provides them with a good general business education and enables them to express themselves well both orally and in writing. Successful graduates can take on a wide range of commercial processing tasks or specialize according to their skills (accounting, purchasing, sales, logistics). In addition, graduates of the VSH commercial diploma from the Association of Swiss Commercial Schools are able to communicate effectively and profitably in at least one foreign language, both orally and in writing. In the world of work, an extra-occupational VSH diploma usually has the same status as a basic commercial training with a federal certificate of proficiency. The Swiss Trade Association (SGV) also recognizes the commercial diploma as such. After successful completion, the protected title "VSH Businessman / Businesswoman" may be used.
Training at a VSH business school is a progressive course, which means that graduating with a VSH business diploma does not mean the end of your professional career. Instead, you can complete a one-year internship to obtain a federal certificate of proficiency in business administration or, if necessary, a vocational baccalaureate. Afterwards, for example, interesting training courses are open to you at clerical level. Or you can aim for a federal certificate (e.g. marketing specialist with a federal certificate, specialist in finance and accounting, etc.).
The VSH commercial diploma will also help you personally, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the office world, which is often difficult for career changers without a diploma. You will also get to know other like-minded people on the course and can network and cultivate friendships.
