Business school is a further education course in business administration. In contrast to a commercial apprenticeship or an office diploma, you do not make up for a missing apprenticeship diploma, but expand your knowledge with business topics. In Switzerland, there are two different commercial diplomas with recognized qualifications: The edupool.ch (Kaufmännischer Verband Schweiz) commercial diploma and the VSH (Verband Schweizerischer Handelsschulen) commercial diploma from private schools. The VSH has been an association of private education companies since 1978. The VSH diploma therefore has a long tradition and is well known in the job market. VSH diplomas are recognized throughout Switzerland and are explicitly acknowledged as being of high quality by the Swiss Trade Association (sgv). The VSH diploma can be compared to the KV degree in terms of level and successful graduates bear the protected title "Kaufmann / Kauffrau VSH".
With the VSH commercial diploma, you are therefore well placed for an interesting position in the commercial sector.
