Financial benefits of further training as a financial planner

  • Total training costs: CHF 4'550

Wage difference and yield calculation:

  • Difference in salary between the job as a bank clerk EFZ and the job as a financial planner: CHF 5,968 - CHF 4,384 = CHF 1,584 per month and CHF 19,008 per year (12 x CHF 1,584 = CHF 19,008)
  • She recoups the entire training costs of CHF 4,550 in just over 2 months with her higher salary as a financial planner (CHF 4,550 / CHF 1,584 per month = 2.4 months)
  • Over the remaining 40 years until their retirement (25 to 65), this additional income will add up to CHF 760,320 (40 x CHF 19,008 = CHF 760,320)
