What do I learn in courses and further training in financial accounting?

Financial accounting courses are often also introductions to accounting itself. As a rule, you will start by learning the basics, such as the tasks of accounting and financial accounting, their significance, basic principles and legal regulations.

Further learning material includes above all:

  • Double-entry bookkeeping: T-account, debit and credit
  • Posting and account technology
  • Recording the movement of goods
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Recognize personnel expenses
  • Elements of the annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement)

The courses teach the basics of accounting and financial accounting. After completing the course, you will be able to post business transactions relating to payments, goods and customer transactions. You will know the importance of the balance sheet and income statement and be able to prepare a simple annual financial statement yourself.
