What are ECDL courses? What does the abbreviation ECDL stand for?

ECDL (European Computer Driving License) is the European Computer Driving License. This internationally recognized certificate is available for four levels (Base - Standard - Advanced - Expert), which confirm that you have the appropriate computer knowledge and skills.

The course consists of a total of 15 modules that meet the various requirements for dealing with IT in the workplace: from basic knowledge in dealing with operating systems (Windows, Mac, etc.) and files as well as the common programs for texts, spreadsheets, Internet, mail and social media to expert level, where you will deal with complex database structures, security issues and the creation of sophisticated presentations, for example.

The modular curricula are published by a central organization, the ECDL Foundation. Identical examinations are held in around 150 countries according to these specifications.
