Please tell us about yourself and your career to date.

I am Michael Kleiner. I am a course supervisor for higher vocational education at WISS in St. Gallen. I originally worked in sales. I completed an apprenticeship as a retail specialist and additional further training in sales. I gained a lot of professional experience in this field in a large company. I then switched to vocational training and initially supervised apprentices in various sectors. From this activity in basic training, I later switched to higher vocational training as part of adult education. In my role, I supervise various courses in the areas of business, IT and real estate and support our students in their studies. This also includes theDegree program in Business Information Systems HF.

The degree course in Business Information Systems (HF) is suitable for people who would like to take on a management position in a larger or medium-sized company at the interface between business administration and information technology. In this role, business IT specialists analyze which programs/software are necessary in order to work more efficiently as a company.
