Please tell us about your career.

My name is Silvia Brand. I am responsible for the facilitator community in a telecommunications company. Facilitators are people who accompany teams in a company, for example to drive transformation or for product development and process optimization. I took part in the CAS Organizational Development and Consulting at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences.

Why did you decide to take the CAS Organizational Development and Consulting course?

I signed up for the CAS in Organizational Development and Consulting because I work in an environment where transformation and change are the order of the day. However, I am also interested in people and their strengths, potential, fears and obstacles when it comes to change. It was crucial for me to find out how I can get people to tackle this change.

What has this CAS Organizational Development and Consulting brought you personally?

The entire content of the UAS course was extremely exciting for me. The practical examples during the CAS in Organizational Development and Consulting in particular helped me to progress and still regularly help me to overcome my daily challenges.

What were your favorite subjects during your FH education?

I can meet my daily professional requirements thanks to all the course content and specific practical examples provided by the lecturers as well as the exchange with other course participants. For me personally, the topics of coaching, counseling, supervision, team development, large group methods and conflicts were the most important.

To whom can you recommend the CAS in Organizational Development and Consulting?

I recommend the CAS in Organizational Development and Consulting to anyone who is involved in a daily transformation and has to deal with change and the associated fears of employees. The FH course is aimed at people in coaching, team development or conflict resolution. However, it would be wrong to expect everything to be fully defined. It takes more than just listening and direct implementation. You receive a lot of information and documents, but after the CAS Organizational Development and Consulting, you are responsible for the correct application to your own area of work.

What did you personally gain from the FH course?

My personal conclusion is: it was a really great six months during the CAS Organizational Development and Consulting. I really enjoyed it a lot and I'll tell everyone that.
