My name is Ines Ostertag and I have made my professional career in the telecommunications industry. I am currently working on a major transformation project. It's very exciting, but also challenging. We have to deal with a wide variety of people. It's about developing understanding and solutions together. I completed a CAS in Organizational Development and Organizational Consulting at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences in 2015.
I chose the CAS in Organizational Development and Organizational Consulting because I work in a large company where I am always dealing with change. However, the course was also recommended to me by a colleague who was very impressed by the CAS. Her stories really motivated and encouraged me to attend the CAS in Organizational Consulting.
At the time of my participation in the CAS, I was developing from a management role into a project or consulting role. The CAS in Organizational Consulting helped me a lot in this process and I gained a good foundation of different models.
What I liked about this course was the high level of interactivity that resulted from the many reflections based on practical examples from other students. For me personally, the CAS in Organizational Consulting helped me a lot to see how I work and act in change processes and in collaboration with people.
In the CAS Organizational Consulting, learning content such as clarification with the client before accepting the assignment was very essential for me. My most important insight from the FH course was that at the beginning of an organizational consulting and development project, a lot of time is invested in clarifying the scope and objectives of the assignment before the actual change can begin. Another interesting aspect of the CAS in Organizational Consulting was the treatment of large group moderation and conflict issues.
I would recommend the CAS in Organizational Consulting to anyone who wants to actively shape, support and accompany change. The CAS is less useful for someone who only wants to deal with the theory of transformation.
Every training and further education course increases your personal marketability. I am convinced of that. However, the CAS in Organizational Consulting was also about my personal development. What I was able to gain from the course was definitely worthwhile for me.
