How well known is the qualification "Biomedical Analyst (HF)" among potential employers?

The Biomedical Analysis HF course is one of the further education options that have been created since 2007-2009*. It leads to the federally recognized diploma "Biomedical Analyst HF / Biomedical Analyst HF".

These diplomas are now well established and valued in the Swiss economy and working world. Professionals with practical and academic qualifications at higher vocational education level are in demand. The chances of finding a suitable job in the healthcare sector with this qualification are very good (and will probably remain so). In their job advertisements, many employers are looking for specialists with exactly the Biomedical Analyst qualification.

*In the years 2007-2009, the healthcare professions were transferred from the responsibility of the SRC (Swiss Red Cross) to the care of the Confederation, or SERI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation). Some professions such as SRC nurse (now: nursing specialist HF), SRC paramedic (now: paramedic HF), technical surgical assistant TOA (now: surgical technology specialist HF) or specialist in medical-technical radiology SRC (now: radiology specialist HF) were renamed and the training courses for these were designed as degree courses at the newly founded higher technical colleges for health HF. At the same time, numerous new further training opportunities were created - such as this "Biomedical Analyst HF" course.
