Classification of the "Business Economist for SMEs" qualification in the Swiss education system

The higher professional examination diploma is the highest federally recognized level of professional further education following an apprenticeship with an EFZ and subsequent professional certificate. Graduates are entitled to use the protected title "Certified Business Economist for SMEs".

With the appropriate professional experience, the degree enables admission to further education courses at universities of applied sciences such as MAS or EMBA.
