What's your name?

My name is Jana Bachmann. I have my own health studio.

What kind of training have you recently completed?

I completed a one-year training course as a beautician with a diploma from the Bella Vita Academy.

Why did you choose the Bella Vita Academy?

I had already trained in hot stone massage at the Bella Vita Academy 10 years ago. I was then allowed to get a taste of the ongoing cosmetics training as a model. I was very impressed by working as a beautician. That's why I later booked this training myself at the Bella Vita Academy and successfully completed it. I was impressed by the lecturer's way of passing on her interlinked knowledge in a clear and understandable way and also conveying it in a practical, precise and yet humorous way. This will probably not be my last training course at the Bella Vita Academy.

What do you particularly like about training to become a qualified beautician?

Even if I don't understand something straight away, the trainer always has time for me and I can ask questions. I then receive a detailed explanation. This made me feel confident in what I was doing after my training. Even today, when I'm working as a beautician, I can contact the owner of the school if I have any questions.

What did you particularly like about the beautician training?

What I really liked about the beautician training course was that the classes are kept very small and you can therefore enjoy intensive training.

How did your cosmetics training influence you?

The cosmetics training had a very positive influence on me. My training as a qualified beautician also taught me to take more care of myself. To like myself. I also found my inner peace.

What did you particularly like about the Bella Vita Academy?

I experienced a lot of peace and serenity at the Bella Vita Academy. We were also a cool training group of budding beauticians. We got on really well and also supported each other. The training objective at the Bella Vita Academy goes beyond the purely physical level. It connects the body with the mind and soul level, so that the person being treated finds peace and inner satisfaction. The facial massage promotes this step of inner contemplation in the cosmetic treatment.

How can you work as a beautician today?

I now have a studio as a beautician. I offer massages and cosmetic and nail treatments there. I have a lot of success with the cosmetic treatments and get good feedback from my customers. The customers like coming to me and keep coming back. They like the cosmetic products I use and enjoy getting advice from me.

What was important to you during your training as a beautician?

During my training as a beautician, it was also important for me to learn the medical basics. We learned what the skin is made of, where blemishes come from, how wrinkles develop and what needs to be taken into account during cosmetic treatments. In my opinion, this knowledge base is very important. Cosmetic knowledge can then be built up and expanded. A beautician must know how to select and use cosmetic products correctly.

What did you gain from the training?

Thanks to my beautician training, I was able to expand the range of services offered by my nail and massage studio. I can now also work in the cosmetics sector. I am successful and satisfied with it. I am grateful to be able to offer this to my clients too. It has really changed my life as I can now fully pursue my dream job. I enjoy getting up every morning and going to work. When I close my studio in the evening, I know that I was able to send my customers home happy. That's the best thing in the world for me.

Can you recommend training to become a beautician?

I can definitely recommend training as a beautician at the Bella Vita Academy. I always do when I am asked where I did my training. Then I like to tell them about my experiences during my training. This path is also open to career changers.
