Further training for a job as a medical secretary has existed under various names for at least 30 years and is correspondingly well known among employees. While both medical practice assistants and medical secretaries can find jobs in doctors' surgeries, hospitals, health insurance companies, social insurance companies and rehabilitation centers are mainly looking for medical secretaries and hospital secretaries.
There are plenty of jobs on offer and, according to futurologists, the healthcare sector will continue to grow in general and in the rehabilitation and care sector in particular.
