Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch presents the most popular courses in selected areas for 2024. This information is particularly valuable for the numerous educational institutions in these areas in order to identify and confirm current trends and demand in the Swiss education market.
Compared with the figures from 2023, the health, wellness and beauty sector is very stable. The three most popular courses remain in the top positions, reflecting the continued interest of people interested in education. New in the top 5 is the "Fitness/Exercise Trainer" course at the expense of the "Naturopath" AFPE course.
In the commercial sector, the two clerical courses in the areas of "HR" and "Accounting" are also the most popular in 2024. The commercial school is also in high demand. New in the top 5 are the continuing education, further training courses leading to the federal "HR Specialist" certificate and certificate courses in "Leadership". The "Medical & Hospital Secretary" and "Real Estate Management Clerk" courses are no longer in the top positions.

As in 2023, the CHE "Social pedagogue" course is again the most popular this year. The SVEB "Trainer" certificate and the "Playgroup leader" course are also very popular. At the expense of the "Nursing specialist (CHE)" course, the "ADHD coach" course is now in the top 5.

In the IT sector, basic courses are still the most popular overall in 2024: ECDL, Office courses and web design basics are all in the top 5. Compared to the previous year, the "Computer scientist for career changers (Federal VET Diploma)" course has become less attractive and lost its top position. The "Web developer" certificate course is new in the top 5 at the expense of the "Excel courses".

The language sector saw much more significant changes compared to the previous year. While "Intensive German courses" were the most popular in 2023, English courses in online format were the most popular in 2024. Furthermore, the "Cambridge First Certificate in English" is now in the top 5 positions.
