How long does tourism training take?
The duration depends on the chosen educational pathway:
Apprenticeship (Federal VET Certificate) as a commercial clerk in the field of business, administration and tourism
2 years
Apprenticeship (Federal VET Diploma) in business, administration and tourism
3 years
College of Higher Education (CHE) for Tourism Specialist CHE
2 - 3 years, full-time or part-time and depending on the chosen training model
Bachelor (University of Applied Sciences)
6 semesters (3 years full-time), part-time correspondingly longer
Master (University of Applied Sciences)
3 to 4 semesters (1.5 to 2 years)
