What professions are there for dancers?
Dancers have a wide range of career opportunities in Switzerland. Classical activities include performances in professional dance companies, musicals, theater productions or at cultural events and festivals.
There are also career paths as dance teachers at schools, dance schools, adult education centers or private studios. Other options are choreographer, dance teacher, dance therapist or working in the fitness and wellness sector, for example in courses for movement, expression or health.
Working in cultural animation, in workshops for children and young people or in interdisciplinary projects (e.g. theater and dance) also offers career prospects.
