Where can I train as a care assistant?
The basic training (apprenticeship) to become a nursing assistant or health and social care assistant Federal VET Certificate takes place one day a week at a vocational college and four days a week in a social or healthcare facility. This can be in a hospital or a nursing home, in a psychiatric clinic or a retirement home, at Spitex or in a home for the disabled.
