Certified legal assistants CHE are not to be found in court, but in a wide variety of workplaces, such as law firms, guardianship authorities, examining magistrates' offices, public prosecutors' offices, tax administrations, migration offices, building authorities, police forces, SMEs, trust companies, banks, road traffic offices, social welfare offices, insurance offices and other administrative or municipal branches. Thanks to their qualified work, they relieve lawyers and solicitors. Depending on where they work, paralegals are entrusted with other tasks, such as advising clients, checking contracts, processing debt collection, handling criminal law cases, providing legal information, issuing rulings, preparing appeals and objections and more.
