Specific training is required to become a federally certified sales manager. Admission to the federal examination is granted to anyone who has a federal certificate or a diploma from a College of Higher Education or Universities and can demonstrate at least three years of practical experience in a managerial role in sales. Alternatively, a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training with at least six years of professional experience, including three years in a management position in sales, is sufficient.
