Wie werde ich Physiotherapeutin?

How do I become a physiotherapist?

You will spend three years (6 semesters) studying for a Bachelor's degree in Physiology, during which time you will learn the medical basics, practical principles and some in-depth knowledge as well as networking and transfer. During your studies to become a physiotherapist, you will attend three internships of 3 months each in internal medicine, traumatology / orthopaedics, visceral surgery or rheumatology. Following the Bachelor's degree course, you will write a Bachelor's thesis on a scientific specialization of your choice and work on a professionally relevant topic. In order to obtain a Bachelor's degree and a professional qualification, you are required to complete two further internships after graduation, this time in physiotherapy. Once you have completed this training in full, you are officially a physiotherapist and may work as such in a clinic, practice or other healthcare facility.
