Wie werde ich Künstler für Moderne Kunst?

How do I become a modern art artist?

Sit down (or stand or lie down if you prefer) and create something. Then you are an artist. However, becoming a respected artist, whether for modern art or another style, and earning money with your work is not always an easy undertaking and requires many other talents in addition to sufficient talent, most of which can be learned, such as the right presentation technique, sales talent or persuasiveness. Because even if your paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations, performances or the like are abstract, harmonious, original, inspiring, disturbing or whatever, this does not mean that you will find a buyer for them. But even artistic skill can be learned and is largely a matter of practice and craft. The choice of the right canvas and color qualities for a painter, the right stone for a stone sculptor or the right wood and right tools for a wood sculptor, a large part of the theoretical knowledge about materials, compositions, perspectives and color theory can be learned. So if you want to become a modern artist, you have a wide range of opportunities to broaden your horizons and learn everything you need to know to do the job. Universities offer you the opportunity to test your skills and learn and try out new things, as well as often helping you to get in touch with artist groups, galleries, institutes or event organizers to publicize your work. The passion, however, must come from within yourself.
