How much does an office assistant Federal VET Certificate apprenticeship earn?
The Swiss Commercial Association issues annual salary recommendations for the two-year basic training program, but these are not binding. The apprenticeship contract regulates the monthly salary. As a recommendation for training as an office assistant Federal VET Certificate for 2018, the association stipulates CHF 770 per month for the first year of training and CHF 980 per month for the second year of training. For other types of training, for example with purely school-based training in the first year and mainly practical training in the second year, the traineeship salary is around CHF 750 per month.
