As in everyday life, some people manage with very little money, while others need much more. However, you should note that you will usually need more money when traveling than at home, as you will probably take part in more activities and excursions at the language schools in Australia than you normally do. Expect to spend around 150 AUD per week, with some more if you are interested in taking part in larger weekend tours, such as a sailing trip, a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island or the Whitsunday Islands.
