Wie unterscheiden sich die einzelnen Kursformen voneinander?

How do the individual course types differ from each other?

Standard courses to learn Arabic can be found at almost all language schools throughout Switzerland. This type of course is designed for the general public who want to acquire their first basic knowledge of a language, preferably on a regular basis over a longer period of time. There are usually ten to sixteen participants in such an Arabic course and the content is set out in such a way that the knowledge acquired in an afternoon or evening only needs to be repeated briefly at home.

However, standard courses are not just for language beginners; this form of language training can also be suitable for people who already have some knowledge of the language or who already speak a language almost perfectly. This is possible because the individual courses are divided into language levels. For beginners, advanced and near-professionals.

Intensive courses usually consist of fewer participants and more lessons, which is actually the main difference to standard courses. Intensive Arabic courses are suitable for people who want to study a language in depth and are willing to revise and prepare outside of class time. The costs for an intensive course are usually higher than for a conventional language course, as the costs are divided between fewer participants (usually between five and twelve).

Arabic courses in the form of private courses are rather rare, as they are considerably more expensive and require a great deal of motivation. In such a course, the content and intensity of the language teaching are determined according to your own wishes and taught to you by a competent teacher. As you are taught alone, the pace of learning is usually faster than in any other course.

You can also find business Arabic courses and other specialized courses at many schools.
