Wie sieht der Einstieg ins Bankwesen aus?
What does entry into banking look like?
For anyone interested in working in a bank and performing a wide range of administrative, advisory or organizational tasks, there are various training and further education paths available. Many people start their banking career by training as a Federal VET Diploma bank clerk. This can be a basic commercial banking apprenticeship with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (profile M) or without a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate (profile E). This vocational education and training (VET) provides training in foreign languages as well as in administration, communication, IT, banking theory, society and economics and is a good basis for subsequent continuing education, further training, for example as a specialist in banking operations with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (VET) or a Federal Diploma of Banking Operations (CHE). However, you do not necessarily have to enter banking through vocational education and training (VET); you also have the option of entering this field with a degree. For example, you can study for a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Banking and Finance (UAS) as well as other courses in the areas of accounting, controlling, fiduciary services and taxation.
