In the first half of the apprenticeship, the prospective office assistant Federal VET Certificate attends vocational school two days a week, in the other three semesters only one day a week. The rest of the time is spent in practical training at the training company. However, there is another variant in which school-based training takes place almost exclusively in the first year of training, five days a week. In the second year of training, apprentices only attend school for half a day a week and complete a paid internship the rest of the time.
